RHINO CONNECT is a Non Profit Organisation (NPO) registered in 2016, pro actively involved in various projects with real time conservation programs, and who are mainly in possession of white and black rhino populations on their conservancies, farms, protection zones and orphanages

Our key focus is connecting individuals across the world, with the people who work honestly and tirelessly against the war on our wildlife. We do this through our Connect Creations Projects and by being actively involved in the day to day care of orphans, injured rhino, patrolling of fences and assisting wildlife caretakers in their needs while fostering a culture of awareness, compassion and consciousness among all we encounter.

Concours South Africa actively supports those with disabilities and specifically the QuadPara Association of South Africa (QASA). QASA is a co-ordinating, policy-making, governing and supporting organisation. A percentage of proceeds from the event will go to QASA.

The QuadPara Association of South Africa (QASA) is a non-profit organisation (NPO 000-881) which represents Quadriplegics and Paraplegics in South Africa. There is provision for any person to become a member of the organisation. The organisation is predominantly staffed and managed by people with disabilities.

QASA’s mission is to be an effective co-ordinating, policy-making and supporting organisation striving to prevent spinal cord injury and to promote and protect the interests of people with mobility impairments through advocacy, lobbying and delivery of services and products to people with disabilities.

QASA is a member of the South Africa Disability Alliance (SADA) and has important relationships with other such organisations, such as the Department of Women, Children and Persons with Disabilities, Disabled People South Africa (DPSA), and the National Council for Persons with Physical Disabilities in South Africa (NCPPDSA).

Six Regional Associations are affiliated to QASA: Gauteng South, Gauteng North, Eastern Cape, Western Cape, North West and KwaZulu-Natal. The QASA Management Board is made up of representatives of each Regional Association.

QASA’s products and services include advocacy & lobbying ; conducting awareness campaigns on the cause and prevention of spinal cord injury; publication and distribution of information for people with disabilities; promoting the establishment of Self Help Centres for independent living; developing income-generating business projects to sustain individuals and Regional Associations; providing sport and hobby activities for members; driving training, transport, provision of education bursaries and facilitating skills development through learnerships and internships, computer training and workshops.

Furthermore QASA provides assistive devices, mobility aids and peer support as part of our empowerment responsibilities. An annual art exhibition, batteries for Quadriplegics using power wheelchairs, and various publications are all in QASA’s stable of projects.

QASA is sustained by strategic relationships with the corporate sector, campaigns, the National Lottery and a number of events held during the year. Some of QASAs projects generate revenue which service the essential non-revenue generating projects.
